In recent days, egyptian outlets claimed Al Ahly'd struck deal to schedule payment of Koller’s remaining dues aiming to close the file peacefully.
But the former coach, via an official statement posted by his agent on Instagram denied these reports completely.

The statement read:
“There have been repeated rumors and false information in recent days regarding alleged negotiations between Marcel Koller & Al Ahly particularly concerning unpaid dues. I would like to clarify that this information isn't true. There have been no agreements or offers as stated. I urge the media to refrain from speculation and rely only on official statements"
