Late to training: Here are the fines set by Flick at Barça

At Barça, Hansi Flick has implemented a strict disciplinary regime. Pedri and Ferran Torres revealed the details.

On the show El Hormiguero, the two players shared that Hansi Flick now imposes fines for any lateness, moving away from the automatic sporting sanctions used in the past. "Regarding punctuality, we've slightly changed the rules. If you're late, you pay a fine," said Pedri, while Ferran specified that the fines can reach up to around €40,000.

This policy underlines the absolute priority Hansi Flick places on respect among teammates and collective commitment, where even a few seconds late can come at a steep price. Pedri and Ferran Torres added: "Hansi Flick doesn't interfere in our downtime — TikTok videos and little dances in the locker room are totally allowed, and that's what makes it possible to balance discipline with a good atmosphere."
