Not selected for the upcoming international break, Christian Bassogog has unleashed his frustration through a message posted on Snapchat. The 29-year-old Cameroonian striker is clearly struggling to come to terms with his exclusion from the Indomitable Lions by new head coach Marc Brys.

The 2017 Africa Cup of Nations winner, initially silent, published a cryptic message:

When disrespect has already taken over, seek to leave quietly.

This statement has been interpreted by many as a powerful sign of discontent, perhaps even a veiled criticism aimed at the staff or the Cameroonian Football Federation.

Radio silence from Brys and Fecafoot

So far, no official explanation has been given for his omission. Neither Brys nor Fecafoot have addressed the issue, leaving fans and pundits alike in the dark. This silence only fuels speculation, especially since other long-standing veterans are also missing from the squad.
