Ligue 1 - OM: Bennacer "absent" against Le Havre?

The bad luck continues for Algerian midfielder Ismaël Bennacer, a key player for Olympique de Marseille, who has suffered yet another injury, forcing him to miss his team's upcoming match.

The Algeria international will be out for his side's game scheduled for next Saturday against Le Havre, on Ligue 1's 33rd matchday, due to a thigh injury.

According to L’Équipe, after undergoing medical tests, it has been confirmed that Bennacer is suffering from a minor thigh injury.

However, Ismaël Bennacer is expected to be back in action for the last match of the season against Rennes, on May 17, at the Stade Vélodrome.

Bennacer's record with Olympique de Marseille

Since his arrival last January during the winter transfer window, the former AC Milan man has made 19 appearances across all competitions. He has provided three assists but has yet to find the back of the net.
