Liverpool are closing in on a significant summer acquisition, with the club in advanced talks to finalize a deal for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi.

The England international has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the Merseyside club on a long-term contract that will extend until 2030. The final step remaining is to secure an agreement with Crystal Palace, who are set to receive a fee of €42 million along with a 10% sell-on clause included in the deal.

Guéhi originally joined Palace from Chelsea in the summer of 2021. During the most recent campaign, the centre-back featured in 44 matches across all competitions, contributing three goals and two assists while also helping the club secure the FA Cup.
