Liverpool has found Arne Slot's replacement

Arne Slot's position at Liverpool appears increasingly precarious. According to Anfield Index, the club has already reached out to Cesc Fàbregas as a potential successor.

Sporting director Richard Hughes is said to have called the 38-year-old former Spanish international, who has been coaching Como for over two years. Fàbregas was reportedly surprised by the approach. Liverpool is particularly impressed with the style of play he has instilled in his team.

For now, these are only preliminary talks: Slot remains in charge and Fàbregas is under contract until 2028. But if Liverpool decides to part ways with the Dutch coach, discussions could quickly gain momentum.
