Liverpool still eyeing Ademola Lookman

Liverpool has not given up on its pursuit of Ademola Lookman this summer. After making an initial approach last year, the Reds are back in the race, determined to convince Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio to part ways with the Nigerian winger.

According to Quotidiano Sportivo, Liverpool is even considering a swap deal to smooth the transfer. The Merseyside club could offer Federico Chiesa, who has not enjoyed the expected playing time since arriving from Juventus. This potential exchange, although not officially confirmed, appears increasingly likely as talks intensify. Chiesa, valued at around €60 million, could provide Atalanta with a high-caliber replacement while adding competition on the flanks.

Ademola Lookman, for his part, has showcased the full range of his talent in Serie A, delivering strong performances that have cemented his status as a prime target for European clubs seeking attacking reinforcements. His current contract in Italy runs until 2027, but a compelling offer could turn the tide.
