Liverpool: Van Dijk calls for self-reflection

Liverpool are going through a rough patch in the Premier League. After their 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest, the Reds have now suffered their 6th loss in 7 matches, dropping them to 11th place in the table.

Captain Virgil van Dijk showed his frustration after the match:

We are in a very, very difficult situation, and we have to get out of it. I prefer to talk about it in the dressing room rather than in the media.

Despite the poor run of results, Van Dijk remains determined:

We have to digest this, take it on the chin, and work even harder. The atmosphere is bad, we need to look ourselves in the mirror and question ourselves.

The Reds now need to quickly find solutions to break this negative streak and climb back up the table.
