Luis Enrique Fires Back: "We Are Already the Champions of France!"

Paris Saint Germain manager Luis Enrique's refused to comment on Barcelona coach Hansi Flick’s complaints about the tight fixture schedule. He stated that he respects all opinions but prefers to focus on his own team.

Speaking at press conference on Friday Enrique said:

"We've 17 players who have played over 2000 minute this season. I always encourage team first mentality because every player has a key role whether they start or come off the bench."

The Spanish coach also avoided discussing France’s performance against Croatia, explaining:

"I don’t like evaluating national teams because my words are often taken out of context. Praise & criticism are part of the job at this level".

PSG on the Verge of Another Title

Despite PSG’s commanding lead in Ligue1 Enrique insists the team remains focused:

"Mathematically we haven’t won the league yet but let’s be honest, we're the champions. However we must stay competitive and respectful towards our opponents."

He added:

"We're in similar position to last season. We’re close to securing the league title, in the Coupe de France semifinals and in the Champions League quarterfinals We aim to go as far as possible in every competition.".

Kvaratskhelia’s Impact Surprises Enrique

Enrique reserved special praise for PSG’s new signing, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, highlighting his quick adaptation:

"His technical ability didn’t surprise me but his defensive commitment did. He’s the 1st to press and the first to drop back when needed."
