Mahmudu Bajo nears a new challenge
Mahmudu Bajo is on the verge of packing his bags. The young Gambian defensive midfielder, just 20 years old, is attracting strong interest from Besiktas. And not just a little.
According to Sabah, the Turkish club's management has reached an agreement with the player. Excited, Bajo has already given the green light to a four-year contract. But now, everything depends on DAC Dunajska Streda. The Slovak club, where the Gambian international is under contract until 2028, is demanding between 3 and 4 million euros. Besiktas, for its part, is said to have made an offer considered insufficient.
If an agreement is reached, Mahmudu Bajo would be taking a major step forward. Moving from Slovakia to one of Turkey's most popular clubs is a significant leap. It's also a showcase. And if negotiations succeed, it will be a great deal for all parties involved.
