Malik Deme loaned to Neuchâtel Xamax

Malik Deme continues his development away from Bern. The 20-year-old striker, under contract with Young Boys, has been loaned for one season to Neuchâtel Xamax, a club playing in the Challenge League (Swiss second division).

A Swiss international of Senegalese descent, Malik Deme is coming off a strong season with FC Vaduz, where he made 31 appearances and scored 4 goals. It's an encouraging record for the young forward, who will now look to confirm his potential in the red and black shirt.

With this loan, Young Boys hope to give their player more playing time and greater responsibility, in a competitive yet developmental environment. The 2025/2026 season will therefore be a decisive one for Malik Deme, who is aiming to reach the next level before hoping to establish himself permanently in the Super League.
