Monza has secured a new addition to their midfield. The Italian club officially announced the signing of Idrissa Touré on Friday, August 21. The Guinean-born player has signed a two-year contract and will remain at Monza until June 2028.

It's a step up for Idrissa Touré. After five years at Pisa, including four in Serie B, the midfielder finally made his Serie A debut last season. The 28-year-old delivered a solid campaign with 32 appearances and one goal, despite his club being relegated at the end of the season.

A career built across Europe

Idrissa Touré knows Italian football well. Trained with Juventus' U23s, he joined Pisa in 2021 and quickly established himself as a reliable starter. Before moving to Italy, his journey took him to Germany with the reserve teams of Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen. He also played in the Netherlands with Vitesse. Now at 28, he arrives at Monza with experience and a determination to prove himself at the highest level.

An experienced addition for Monza

The Lombard club is betting on his all-around profile. A ball-winner, capable of breaking lines and providing balance, Touré is expected to bring more depth to the midfield. While Pisa drops down, he remains in the top flight.

This transfer is a reward for the consistency he has shown in recent years. At Monza, Idrissa Touré will have the chance to prove he belongs in Serie A and help the club achieve its long-term goals.
