Mamadou Camara set to join Guingamp
EA Guingamp has secured a promising young reinforcement. Mamadou Camara, known as "Cama," will join the Breton club at the end of the season. The 17-year-old French-Malian midfielder arrives from Montrouge FC92, a club renowned for its youth development program.
Mamadou Camara joined the Parisian side in the summer of 2023. He initially played with the U17 Regional squad, where his impact in midfield quickly caught the eye. By mid-season, he had moved up to the U18 Regional 3 team and soon established himself as a key player with the U18 Regional squad. It was a rapid rise, marked by remarkable consistency.
With a well-rounded profile, able to cover ground and break lines with the ball at his feet, Mamadou Camara has convinced Guingamp's scouts. He will initially play with the club's youth teams as he continues his development.
