Manchester United has a new priority for the next transfer window
A storyline resurfaces at Manchester United. According to the English press, Ruben Amorim reportedly met with Antoine Semenyo in London at the end of last season to “test his character” and get a better sense of the Ghanaian striker’s personality. It was a discreet dinner, but one loaded with meaning: United wanted to ensure that the Bournemouth forward had the right mindset to join the club’s new project.

Club executives Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox have also reportedly held direct talks with Bournemouth, further evidence of United’s concrete interest. Manchester United was even ready to offer £55 million last summer to sign Semenyo, but the transfer ultimately fell through.
The situation has since become more complicated: his release clause is now set at £65 million, a significantly higher amount that could prove problematic. The question remains whether United will make another attacking move in the next transfer window… or if this lead will eventually slip away.
