Belgian coach Marc Brys has been putting up impressive stats since taking the helm of the Cameroonian national team.

In 15 matches with the "Indomitable Lions," he's suffered just one defeat, which came against Cape Verde (0-1) on matchday 8 of the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

On the other hand, he's claimed nine victories—including the most recent 2-0 win over Mauritius on matchday 9 of the World Cup qualifiers—along with five draws.

Under Marc Brys, Cameroon have scored 25 goals and conceded just 7, boasting a remarkable +18 goal difference.

Will he stay or will he go?

The Belgian tactician is under contract with the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education (MINSEP) until the end of 2026. That said, it's unlikely he'll see out his deal, given the ongoing conflicts with Samuel Eto'o, president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT).

The coming months should shed more light on this situation, though Brys is almost certain to be on the "Indomitable Lions" bench for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
