Marouane Chamakh joins the Moroccan U-17 team!
In a strategic and thoughtful move to capitalize on the experiences and successes of its former players, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has decided to integrate Marouane Chamakh, the former Moroccan international, into the national U-17 team. This team, recently led by the coach, won the Africa Cup of Nations after triumphing over Mali in the final.
Chamakh, a new boost for the young Atlas Lions!
According to the newspaper "Almountakhab", the Federation of Fouzi Lekjaa and the national technical direction have decided to strengthen the youth selection by incorporating the former "Atlas Lions" striker, with the aim of allowing young players to benefit from the knowledge and skills of former internationals who have completed coaching training. This initiative aims to pass on their expertise and guide the new generation towards success.
This decision is part of a series of successful initiatives where several former international players like Nourredine Naybet, Walid Regragui, and Tarik Sektioui have successfully entered the coaching field.
It is worth noting that Marouane Chamakh, a former Arsenal player, recently obtained his coaching diploma, a decisive step in his career transition after participating in a training organized by the Moroccan national technical direction.
