Ismaël Bennacer could extend his adventure in Marseille. According to L’Équipe, Olympique de Marseille and AC Milan are in advanced talks to renew the loan of the Algerian international.

Arriving on loan last season, Ismaël Bennacer quickly established himself in Marseille’s midfield. Despite a slow start due to physical setbacks, he finished the campaign with 12 appearances and 2 assists. His football intelligence, passing quality, and top-level experience brought real value to Marseille’s midfield.

At 27 years old, the Algerian is still under contract with AC Milan until 2027, but another loan deal, with or without a purchase option, seems to be the solution favored by both clubs. For OM, keeping Bennacer would secure a major technical asset ahead of the upcoming European campaign.
