Mercato: Al Ahly officially signs Mohamed Seha, according to Shobair!
The Egyptian giants Al Ahly have moved to bolster their squad by signing a new goalkeeper in this summer transfer window.
According to statements made this Sunday morning by Ahmed Shobair, Al Ahly’s legendary former keeper, on his radio show, the “Red Devils” have finalized the arrival of Mohamed Seha, the Arab Contractors shot-stopper who spent this season on loan at Haras El Hodoud.

Shobair clarified: “Al Ahly officially signed Mohamed Seha yesterday. The player belonged to Arab Contractors, but he spent this season at Haras El Hodoud on loan. The club has completed all the administrative procedures.”
Regarding the transfer fee, he added: “I can't confirm the exact figure. Some are saying 25 million, others mention 30, even 35 million. What is certain is that the contract has been signed. It was captain Mohamed Youssef, the club’s sporting director, who successfully led the operation.”
Shobair also highlighted the player’s development: “He’s a good goalkeeper. I followed him last season. He was very close to signing for Ismaily, but a transfer ban prevented the deal. Mohamed Youssef then brought him to Haras El Hodoud, and he played a major role in keeping the club in the top 9 of the league.”
Throughout the season, Mohamed Seha stood out with his solid performances: he featured in 14 matches, conceded 19 goals, and kept 7 clean sheets. These displays convinced the club’s management, led by Mahmoud El Khatib, to bet on him ahead of the Club World Cup.
Barring any last-minute changes, this will be Al Ahly’s fifth summer signing, following the arrivals of Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet," Ahmed Sayed "Zizo," the loan of Hamdi Fathi, and the capture of Tunisian international Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane.
