Mercato: Anas Zniti leaves Raja and heads to Al Wasl!

Raja Casablanca has announced, via a statement published on its official social media pages, the amicable termination of the contract of its international goalkeeper Anas Zniti, at his own request, with the player waiving a significant portion of his outstanding financial dues.

In its statement, the reigning Botola Pro champions declared:

"The Raja Club Athletic management committee announces the termination of the contract of player Anas Zniti, first-team goalkeeper, at his request and with a waiver of a large part of his accumulated financial claims over the years. Both parties have agreed upon a schedule for the payment of the remaining debts in an amicable manner.

On this occasion, the management committee warmly thanks Anas Zniti for his exceptional journey and the tremendous efforts he has made during his years with the club. We wish him great success in his sporting and personal career."

According to reputable Moroccan media outlets such as Al Botola and Al Mountakhab, Anas Zniti, who spent nine and a half years at Raja, is expected to soon sign with UAE club Al Wasl.

The same sources indicate that Zniti is set to become the first-choice goalkeeper for Al Wasl in the AFC Champions League.
