Mercato: Modou Keba Cissé set to take a major step in his career

Modou Keba Cissé is on the verge of signing with French Ligue 2 club ESTAC Troyes. This move will allow the young Senegalese defender to reach a new milestone in his blossoming career.

Previously linked with Lorient, newly promoted to Ligue 1 this season, the 19-year-old has ultimately opted to join Troyes, who compete in the second tier.

Cissé leaves Austrian club LASK after a season in which he made 20 appearances, finding the net during a defeat to Sturm Graz (4-2) in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The player, a product of the Be Sport academy, could soon make his debut in French Ligue 2, hoping to make a name for himself. Perhaps this could be a springboard to a bigger club or even a call-up to the national team with “the Lions”.
