Mercato: Noah Fadiga could head to Greece this summer
Noah Fadiga

Noah Fadiga, defender for Gent, could leave Belgium to join Aris Thessaloniki in Greece this summer. Negotiations between the parties are reportedly already well advanced, and a deal for the Senegalese international appears to be close.

After several seasons at Gent, where he displayed great potential but didn’t always manage to secure a consistent starting spot, Noah Fadiga is considering a move to the Greek league. According to the latest reports, Aris Thessaloniki, a club in the Greek Super League, is on the verge of finalizing his signing. This move aligns with the Senegalese defender’s desire to get more playing time and make his mark in a new league.

Kickstarting his career for a comeback

Having previously played for Brugge, Volendam, Heracles, and Brest, Fadiga is undeniably a talented player with a promising trajectory, though his progress has been hampered by health issues. With his experience in Belgium and a handful of appearances for the Senegal national team, he has the tools to bounce back in Greece. In Thessaloniki, the 25-year-old aims to regain his rhythm, rebuild his confidence, and prove he remains an attacking threat down the right flank.

On that note, Belgian media report that the agreement between Gent and Aris Thessaloniki would be for a three-year contract and a transfer fee of around €1.5 million—about half his estimated market value of €3 million.
