Mercato: Thierno Barry leaves Villarreal!

The adventure is over for Guinea's Thierno Barry at Villarreal. The player has just announced his decision.

It's now official from the player's side: Thierno Barry is leaving Villarreal to join Everton for a transfer fee of 35 million euros.

According to Marca, the player is currently in Liverpool to sign his contract with the Toffees. Before that, he published a farewell message addressed to the Spanish club and its supporters.

"It was a huge honor to wear this shirt. Thank you for the love you have shown me since day one, and for the unforgettable memory of my first goal in the stadium. That's what gave me the strength to fight for you every weekend. I want to thank my teammates for giving me an incredible year, full of joy, and for all the wonderful people I have met in the club and in the team," wrote Barry.

It should be remembered that Thierno Barry arrived last summer from Basel for a fee of 14 million euros.
