Mercato: Two English clubs eye Pape Amadou Diallo
Pape Amadou Diallo

Two English clubs are showing keen interest in Senegalese midfielder Pape Amadou Diallo during this summer transfer window.

Although he came very close to joining Slavia Prague, who tabled a €5 million bid, Pape Amadou Diallo remains at Metz—for now, at least.

However, the Senegal international attacking midfielder, who racked up 7 goals and 4 assists last season, is highly regarded in England. Watford, currently competing in the Championship, offered €5 million to FC Metz. But the English side, who previously had Ismaila Sarr on their books, are not alone in the race.

According to a source within Les Grenats, Norwich are also very interested in Pape Amadou Diallo and have even submitted an offer to the club chaired by Bernard Serin.
