The Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou could be set for a return to the “old continent” starting from the new 2025-2026 season.

Under contract with his Saudi club Al Hilal until 2026, the last line of defense for the “Atlas Lions” could be granted a transfer during this summer transfer window.

According to Turkish TV channel HT Spor, Galatasaray are reportedly keen to sign the Moroccan keeper in this summer’s mercato.

Set to compete in the next edition of the UEFA Champions League, the Turkish football giant is ready to break the bank to secure proven players on the European stage.

Yassine Bounou’s record with Al Hilal

Signed in 2023 from Sevilla for a fee of €21 million, Yassine Bounou has shone with Al Hilal. In 89 matches played, he has conceded 80 goals and kept 35 clean sheets.
