Ahmed Hossam Mido, a member of Zamalek's technical committee, admitted he does not know if Ahmed Sayed Zizo will be included in the squad list for the upcoming matches.

The player had stopped attending training sessions before the clash against Stellenbosch in the CAF Confederation Cup, due to tensions sparked by his recent statements regarding the extension of his contract with Zamalek, and his reported agreement in principle with arch-rivals Al Ahly.

After a period of uncertainty between Zizo and the club, the winger has returned to training, but is working individually.

Speaking to ON Sport, the former Ajax and Tottenham striker declared:
"This is a decision that belongs to the coach. Zizo is still a Zamalek player, and it's up to the coach to decide if he should play."

Mido: "I dream of a structured and professional Zamalek!"

Mido also spoke about the ongoing reorganization of the club's football department:
"My dream is for Zamalek to operate like a normal club, with a well-structured sporting sector, where every official knows their responsibilities without interference in each other's work."

He continued: "We are currently working on restructuring the football department. The planning committee's role is to outline the project's key directions. We are establishing the framework and submitting our recommendations to the board of directors."

He concluded: "We aim to appoint an experienced sporting director, a competent contract manager, an executive director, a financial director, and a marketing director, starting from June 1."
