Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane close to joining Al Ahly

Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane could soon be packing his bags to join one of Africa’s biggest clubs. According to YallaKora, the Tunisian international is on the verge of signing with Al Ahly. A preliminary agreement is said to have already been reached between the two parties ahead of the summer 2025 transfer window.

Having joined Ferencváros in the summer of 2023, the midfielder quickly made his mark in Hungary. In 74 appearances across all competitions, he netted 8 goals and provided 11 assists. These solid statistics underscore his consistency and versatility in the center of the park.

The Egyptian club, in search of experienced profiles to bolster their midfield, sees Ben Romdhane as a reliable asset. His experience with the Carthage Eagles, combined with his ability to link defense and attack, makes him an ideal target. The only question that remains is whether Ferencváros will agree to let their player go.
