For the 2025 Ballon d'Or, does Mohamed Salah still have a say? According to Tamer Abdelhamid, former Egyptian international, the Liverpool striker remains a serious contender for the 2024 Ballon d'Or.

"I think Salah’s chances are back," he told Maghreb-Foot. "Personally, I like him a lot. He is a role model." Strong words, and not without merit. The numbers speak for the Pharaoh: 33 goals, 23 assists, in 49 matches across all competitions.

At 32, Liverpool’s number 11 has just been crowned Premier League champion. But will that be enough to claim the most coveted individual trophy? We’ll find out in a few months.
