Mohammed Kudus: Tottenham and West Ham reach agreement, details revealed
Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus is set to leave the Hammers this summer. The Black Star is on his way to Tottenham as both clubs have agreed on the terms of the transfer.
After several days of negotiations, Tottenham has finally reached an agreement with West Ham for the transfer of Mohammed Kudus. According to The Athletic, the Spurs will pay around €64.8 million to secure the services of the Ghana international (42 matches, 12 goals). The player is scheduled to undergo his medical this Thursday.
Mohammed Kudus will then sign a six-year contract with the team managed by Thomas Frank, keeping him at the club until 2031. His current deal with the Hammers included a release clause that could only be activated during the first 10 days of July.
The release clause for Premier League clubs was close to €99 million, but Tottenham didn’t have to reach that figure, despite an initial bid of €58 million being turned down.
