Recently, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has managed to snatch several players born in Belgium, including Bilal El Khannouss and Chemsdine Talbi.

The latest target of the two governing bodies is none other than Ilyes Bennane, the young prodigy from Anderlecht.

According to the site walfoot, the Belgian Football Federation has made the 14-year-old player's case its priority for the medium term. Its mission will not be easy, especially since its Moroccan counterpart has already convinced him to wear the jersey of the national U-15 team.

Eligible to wear the jerseys of the "Atlas Lions" and the "Red Devils", Ilyes Bennane is expected to decide in the near future on his sporting nationality.

A versatile player, he is capable of playing as a right winger or even as a left winger.
