Morocco: Walid Regragui linked with move to France!

The future of Walid Regragui continues to stir the football scene, despite the official denial from the Moroccan Federation. After the defeat in the 2025 AFCON final against Senegal, the Atlas Lions’ head coach has been surrounded by speculation—especially from France—regarding his next move.

The FRMF issued a statement to calm the rumors, categorically denying “the information circulated by certain news sites claiming that Walid Regragui has submitted his resignation.” It was a strong clarification, but it hasn’t completely silenced the debate about his future.

Meanwhile, some observers are already hinting at a potential destination in Ligue 1. On X, Nabil Djellit floated a hypothesis linking Regragui with Olympique de Marseille:

“I can easily see Regragui at OM after De Zerbi, unless the latter stays for five years as promised…”

This statement has reignited an unexpected scenario.
