Napoli are back on top of Italian football. Thanks to a 2-0 victory over Cagliari, Antonio Conte’s side have clinched a historic fourth Scudetto, rendering Inter’s 2-0 win over Como irrelevant in the standings.

In a raucous Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, the heroes of the night were Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku. The former unleashed a sensational overhead kick in the 42nd minute to set the city alight. The latter doubled the lead with a brilliant solo effort just after the break, sparking wild celebrations across Naples and the entire south of the country.

Despite a tense start and a composed Cagliari side (already safe from relegation), Napoli showed resilience. Driven by their passionate supporters and a McTominay in legendary form, they seized control with two bursts of brilliance and weathered Cagliari’s final surges.

Naples can savor this moment. A season ruled with heart, talent, and unbridled passion, capped off in the most spectacular fashion. The eternal city of football is vibrating with joy—and will be for a long time to come.
