Naples crowned champions of Italy

Napoli are back on top of Italian football. Thanks to a 2-0 victory over Cagliari, Antonio Conte’s side have clinched a historic fourth Scudetto, rendering Inter’s 2-0 win over Como irrelevant in the standings.

In a raucous Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, the heroes of the night were Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku. The former unleashed a sensational overhead kick in the 42nd minute to set the city alight. The latter doubled the lead with a brilliant solo effort just after the break, sparking wild celebrations across Naples and the entire south of the country.
