Napoli, crowned Italian champions for the 2024-2025 season, continues its ambitious transfer window with a high-profile target: Kevin De Bruyne. The Partenopei have entered serious negotiations to sign the Belgian international from Manchester City as early as this summer.

With his contract at the Citizens set to expire at the end of the current season, De Bruyne has officially announced he will not extend his stay in Manchester. After a decade of loyalty to the English club, the 33-year-old midfielder is preparing to move on, decorated with 19 titles won on both domestic and European stages.

Romano: Napoli makes a bold move—De Bruyne targeted with a €27M offer!

According to renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have put forward a concrete offer: a three-year contract with a total salary of €27 million, including a signing bonus.

A strong message has been sent by Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli’s president, who confirmed the player’s interest in joining the southern club:

“I am convinced that Kevin De Bruyne will soon be one of us. I’ve been told he bought a beautiful house in Naples. This morning, I spoke with him, his wife, and their child—he was very enthusiastic about joining our project.”

This bold move underlines Napoli’s desire to firmly establish themselves among Europe’s elite, by attracting world-class players like De Bruyne to strengthen their squad and defend their Serie A crown.
