Neymar reacts after being left out of Brazil's squad!
Neymar da Silva Junior, Santos forward, broke his silence and reacted after being excluded from Brazil's squad announced by Seleção coach Dorival Júnior, ahead of the matches against Colombia and Argentina as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Forced to leave the Brazilian national team camp, the former Al-Hilal player (33 years old) underwent medical examinations conducted by the Seleção's medical staff, which confirmed he was suffering from a confirmed physical injury.
On his official Instagram account, Neymar wanted to clarify the situation by stating:
"The return seemed very close, but unfortunately, I will not be able to wear the most prestigious jersey in the world at this moment."
Before adding:
“We reached an agreement with the national team's technical staff, who chose to take no risks to allow me to recover fully and in the best conditions.”
Endrick replaces Neymar in Brazil's squad
To compensate for Neymar's absence, Dorival Júnior called up young Real Madrid striker Endrick, who thus joins the Brazilian squad for these two crucial fixtures.
As part of the World Cup qualifiers, Brazil will host Colombia on March 20, before facing their eternal rival, Argentina, the top-ranked team, on the 26th of the same month.
