Neymar's Return to Barcelona? Flick's Clear Response

German coach Hans Flick, at the helm of the Barcelona team, has responded to the circulating rumors about the possible return of Brazilian star Neymar da Silva to the Catalan club next season.

Flick's blunt response on Neymar's return

During the press conference preceding the match between Benfica and Barcelona, Flick gave a categorical response to the question about Neymar possibly returning to Barça:

“Neymar’s return? That’s not my job. I am focused on this team and this season... Signings are the responsibility of other positions in the club, not mine.”

Catalan newspapers such as Mundo Deportivo and Sport had previously mentioned the possibility of Neymar's return, who spent four seasons at the club, winning several titles including the Champions League, the Club World Cup, and two La Liga titles, among many other trophies.

It is worth recalling that the Seleção star left Barcelona after paying the release clause of his contract, amounting to €222 million, before joining Paris Saint-Germain in the 2017/2018 season.
