Nicky Beloko nears MLS move

With his contract at FC Luzern coming to an end, the 25-year-old is expected to join the American franchise this summer. Talks between both parties are at an advanced stage, and the outcome appears all but certain. The Cameroonian-born player has already informed his teammates of his departure, underscoring just how close the deal is to completion.

Trained in Switzerland and with a stint at Fiorentina in Italy, Nicky Beloko is renowned for his stamina, physical presence, and ability to break forward. After impressing in the Swiss Super League, he’s now set to experience a completely different style of football under Austin FC head coach Nico Estévez.
