Norwich City: Harmony Okwumo set to take the next step

Harmony Okwumo is about to turn professional. At just 19 years old, the Nigerian right-back is preparing to sign his first contract with Norwich City after an impressive season with the U21s. The club confirmed the news by publishing the list of retained players at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

Harmony Okwumo is one of the most promising youngsters of his generation. Fast, disciplined, and tactically astute, he has displayed remarkable maturity this season in the reserve squad. He’s a modern full-back, able to contribute going forward without neglecting his defensive duties.

This promotion to the first team comes as no surprise. It’s the reward for a long-term effort, praised internally. At Norwich, the focus is now on youth to build for the future. For Okwumo, the objective is clear: to establish himself in the senior squad and earn valuable minutes in the Championship.
