Nottingham Forest manager gives new news on Taiwo Awoniyi's injury!

Portuguese coach Nuno Espirito Santo, who is currently in charge of Nottingham Forest, has decided to leave his Nigerian player Taiwo Michael Awoniyi out of the squad for the final Premier League game of the season against Chelsea because the player.

The two-time Champions League winners are fully prepared to play European football for the first time in the 21st century, they have defied all expectations and have managed to achieve satisfactory results in the domestic competition.

Although the Nigerian striker underwent a successful bowel operation after suffering an injury in the 2-2 draw with Leicester City, the manager has decided not to call him up for the upcoming game.

Santo added; “We are going to be playing for T again. He is not going to be with us. It was a big issue that happened to him, and it is in our minds. We want to see him totally healthy and joining in the group, so it is again going to be a game for T. For T, for us, for the fans, for the city, for everybody, but we just play the game. I hope this day is enjoyable for all of us, but we are going to face a good team. They have talented players. They are like us, in that it is a decisive game for all of us”.

Nottingham are currently seventh in the Premier League table and if they can record a big win against Chelsea, the Champions League will be waiting for them.
