Nottingham: Ola Aina could feature in the clash against Brentford

Ola Aina has been absent from the Tricky Trees squad for four matches due to an injury sustained during the victory over Manchester United earlier this month. The Nigerian defender resumed training this week, and his fitness is being assessed on a daily basis.
Just days before the highly anticipated Premier League showdown between Nottingham Forest and Brentford, head coach Nuno Espírito Santo addressed the situation regarding the 28-year-old and his potential return to the squad.
“We still have a day to assess all the players and try to make decisions. Every absent player is important to us. We’ve talked about this many times. We’ve missed Ola, especially because of the stability he brings to our backline and the way he links up play. We’ll evaluate him and see how quickly he can come back into the team,” he explained at the press conference.
Injured on April 1 against Manchester United without any opponent contact, Ola Aina suffered a calf tear that required extensive medical tests. His absence has weakened Forest’s defense, depriving them of his attacking and defensive contributions down the right flank. His return would be fantastic news for Nottingham Forest, who are aiming for a Champions League spot.
