The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) is ramping up efforts to attract young dual-nationality talents ahead of upcoming African and international competitions.
Among the prospects closely monitored by the national team’s sporting director, Ziad Jaziri, is Wassim Slama (16), a promising midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain. Many pundits consider him one of the standout players of his generation within the Parisian club.
Born in France, the young player holds both French and Tunisian citizenship, giving him the option to represent either country at the international level.
Wassim Slama was recently called up for the first time by Luis Enrique to join PSG’s senior squad for the match against Montpellier, played last Saturday as part of Ligue 1’s 33rd round.
