For his part, Rayan Aït-Nouri could not hide his pride at wearing the Sky Blues shirt. He also revealed that he had spoken with Mahrez during their last national team camp.

"Yes, we talked during our training camp with the national team. He encouraged me a lot and told me about the city and the club. He advised me to give everything, and I'll try to follow his example and what he achieved at City," the young defender shared.
