Official: Christian Kofane signs with Bayer Leverkusen

Christian Kofane has just signed with Bayer Leverkusen. The official announcement was made this Friday, July 11, by the German club.

The young Cameroonian forward Christian Kofane has committed to Bayer Leverkusen until 2029. The Werkself paid 5 million euros to secure the services of the former AS Nylon starlet.

The Cameroonian thus leaves the Spanish second division for the Bundesliga. His transfer from Albacete Balompié to Bayer Leverkusen is a testament to his impressive performances. In just seven months with Albacete in Liga 2, Christian Kofane netted 8 goals in 20 matches, delivering standout displays for the first team.

Long courted by FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and other major La Liga clubs, the player has ultimately chosen Germany as the stage to launch his professional career.
