Ibrahim Osman has officially arrived at AJ Auxerre this Tuesday, July 8, 2025. After a season with Feyenoord Rotterdam, the young Ghanaian player from Brighton joins the Burgundy club on loan to strengthen Auxerre's squad.

AJ Auxerre has confirmed the signing of Ibrahim Osman from Brighton & Hove Albion on a one-year loan deal, which includes a purchase option set at around €16 million. According to Fabrizio Romano, the player turned down several previous offers before committing to the Burgundy sporting project.

"AJA is delighted to announce the arrival of Ibrahim Osman! The 20-year-old attacking midfielder joins on a season-long loan (with an option to buy) from Premier League side Brighton and will wear the number 23," reads the announcement from the French club.

The Ghanaian talent has experienced a rapid rise since his debut with FC Nordsjælland, before moving to Brighton at the start of 2024. Last season, he was loaned to Feyenoord Rotterdam, where he featured in 32 matches, netted 4 goals, and provided 3 assists across all competitions. While these performances were not enough to earn him a Premier League opportunity at Brighton, they have paved the way for a fresh challenge in France's Ligue 1.
