Official: Johnbosco Kalu arrives in Israel

Beitar Jerusalem has found its new striker. The Israeli club has officially announced the signing of Johnbosco Kalu.

The Nigerian forward, 27, joins from IFK Värnamo, a Swedish top-flight club. After a rather discreet spell in Sweden (12 matches, 2 goals), Kalu is seizing a fresh opportunity to reignite his career.

Fast, physically imposing, and capable of playing as a target man, the Lagos-born striker will aim to establish himself as Beitar's attacking reference point as the club seeks a return to the top of Israeli football. This passionate, popular club hopes his arrival will inject much-needed dynamism into the final third.
