Official: Kamaldeen Sulemana signs with Atalanta Bergamo

Atalanta Bergamo has just officially confirmed the arrival of Ghanaian international Kamaldeen Sulemana to their squad.

On the evening of Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Atalanta Bergamo secured their new attacking midfielder, Kamaldeen Sulemana. After three seasons in England with Southampton, the 23-year-old is ready for a new challenge.

The Ghanaian international is a midfielder with a unique profile who experienced a rather challenging season, much like his former club, finishing with 2 goals and 3 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions. Kamaldeen Sulemana was under contract with Southampton until 2027, but has now been transferred to "La Dea" for a fee reportedly close to €17 million, excluding bonuses.

The Ghanaian has signed a contract running until June 2029 with Atalanta Bergamo and will play for the first time in his young career in Serie A.
