A new milestone for Lamine Touré. The Guinean defender signed his first professional contract with FC Sochaux-Montbéliard on Monday, June 2.

Lamine Touré is now tied to the club until 2026. Born in Conakry in 2002, he developed his skills in northern France before moving to AC Ajaccio, where he first played for the U19 National team and then for the reserves. His journey then took him to Moulins Yzeure Foot in National 3—a brief but formative stint.

In the summer of 2024, Sochaux spotted his talent. He joined the reserves and quickly began training regularly with the first team. Lamine Touré has shown real promise—strong, disciplined, and impressively mature for his age. He made several appearances in the National squad, though without playing time, before finally making his official debut in the Coupe de France against Avallon. His signing is a clear vote of confidence; Lamine Touré has the potential, but now he'll need to prove it on the pitch with consistency and hard work.
