Official: Qatar sets date for 2025 Arab Cup and U17 World Cup draws!
The local organizing committee for the 2025 Arab Cup and the U17 World Cup has announced the official date for the draws of both tournaments, as part of Qatar's ongoing preparations as the host country for these major events.
Qatar to host the draws for the 2025 Arab Cup and the U17 World Cup
The draws will take place on Sunday, May 25, at the Raffles Hotel in Doha, with representatives from the participating teams in attendance.
The Arab Cup is scheduled from December 1 to 18, 2025, featuring 16 Arab national teams. This highly anticipated edition promises fierce competition among the region's top sides.
As for the U17 World Cup, it will take place from November 3 to 27, 2025, boasting a record 48 national teams. This will be the first edition held under this expanded format, part of a long-term agreement that entrusts Qatar with hosting five consecutive editions of the tournament.
The draw ceremony will bring together representatives from the 16 teams competing in the Arab Cup, as well as those from the 48 federations qualified for the U17 World Cup, making this a major football event—both Arab and international—on Qatari soil.
