Rodez Aveyron Football has officially announced the departure of Comorian Abdel Hakim Abdallah, one of the squad’s key players in recent years.


Arriving in 2022, the Comorian left wing-back has left a lasting mark on the blood & gold club, featuring in 112 matches. Captain this season, Abdallah has been an undisputed leader both on the pitch and in the dressing room. He contributed to three Ligue 2 survivals and a memorable play-off run, earning a reputation as a tenacious, consistent, and respected player.

Trained at Troyes and having played for Tours and Grenoble, he has made a total of 162 Ligue 2 appearances. His final season at Rodez was his most productive statistically, with 8 combined goals and assists. Now a free agent, the 26-year-old Comorian international is turning a major page in his career.
