OGC Nice paid a heartfelt tribute to its two defensive mainstays, Mohamed Abdelmonem and Youssouf Ndayishimiye, who have been sidelined for several days due to serious injuries. Both players, crucial to Franck Haise’s system, suffered a rupture of the right knee cruciate ligament, one during a match at Parc des Princes, the other in training.

On the evening of Friday, May 2, OGC Nice took the opportunity of hosting Stade de Reims at the Allianz Riviera in Ligue 1 to salute the courage and commitment of their Egyptian and Burundian defenders, symbols of the team’s unity. The Aiglons warmed up wearing t-shirts with the message 'Momo, Youss, we’re with you' before posing for the pre-match photo in shirts bearing their teammates’ names.
