Jordan Torunarigha has caught the eye of Olympique de Marseille. The 27-year-old Nigerian centre-back is drawing attention after a rock-solid season with Gent.

Under contract until June 2025, he has featured in 39 matches across all competitions. While he hasn't found the back of the net, his primary mission is different: to anchor the defense. According to Berliner Kurier, Marseille’s head of recruitment, Medhi Benatia, has recently stepped up efforts to land the defender. OM are looking to move quickly—very quickly. The club from the south of France wants to bolster its defensive ranks ahead of the upcoming season.

But nothing is set in stone yet. Other European clubs are also monitoring the situation. OM must convince both the player and his club before the summer window closes. Could Jordan Torunarigha make his Ligue 1 debut? Stay tuned.
