The goal reflected City’s early control, with Pep Guardiola’s side enjoying spells of possession and pushing Arsenal back during the opening stages.
Arsenal respond immediately through Havertz
Arsenal’s reaction was immediate. Just minutes after conceding, Kai Havertz capitalised on a costly mistake from City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
